Research on Sustainable Furniture Design Based on Waste Textiles Recycling

As people’s living standards rise, textile waste becomes more significant, and the number of textiles grows swiftly, wreaking havoc on earth’s ecosystem. Simultaneously, creation furniture consumes a significant amount wood. The paint adhesive used to manufacture it are also unsustainable harmful human beings. Therefore, one most urgent environmental challenges that needs be paid attention at present is recycling sustainable furniture. Given this situation, study proposes solution combining design with composite material manufacturing. Guided by solution, obtained textile-starch textiles, starch, other components using microwave expansion technology. biodegradable, environmentally friendly, non-polluting. It can customized meet different needs. Then, research applies obtains set works characteristics. This kind scheme eliminate pollution textiles. At same time, composites serve as an economical friendly alternative many synthetic natural materials in reform has tremendous development promise simultaneously handle problems resources.
